Dark Souls Bundle for Your PS4

Ooooo, boy, it’s time to Praise the Sun again, everyone, and it’s time to praise it good! 2018 will be an even better year for gaming than 2017, and PS4 is looking to spice it up. Bandai Namco, the company behind FromSoftware, is looking to bring you the most hardcore series of the past decade, and they’re going to bring it in style.

But, which Dark Souls? The answer – all of them! That’s right, boys and girls, Bandai Namco is planning to bring all three instalments to PS4 for the players to enjoy, and some miscellaneous stuff. The Dark Souls bundle will include Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition, a Dark Souls Encyclopedia Set, Dark Souls Memorial Art Set, the trilogy’s soundtrack and bookends, and the all new, Dark Souls Remastered.

Yep, that’s right, Dark Souls and its bosses and areas are coming back, and in HD, too. Though the game has held up well over the years due to its unique style, Dark Souls is getting an HD remake that will spark the gamer’s interest once again, and allow it to stand hand in hand with DS3. Because, let’s face it – DS1 still has the best mechanics and the best level design of all the Soulsborne games.

So, when can we expect this bundle? The official date is May 24th, 2018, but this only goes of Japan. So far, only the Japanese will be getting this bundle, but we are certain that the bundle will be released and available to players in Europe and the US, considering that a great chunk of Dark Souls’ active playerbase comes from there.

Now, what about the price? Well, let us tell you, the bundle, in all its awesomeness, won’t be cheap. The current price comes at 49.800 yen, or some $600, for the whole set. At this time, the price is one perhaps affordable only to those of blue blood, but, to be honest, you’re getting a lot of value out of this bundle, and we’re sure the product will find its buyer, especially because the series’ popularity doesn’t seem to have waned too much.
All in all, this is one heck of a deal. It might cost a pretty penny, but, even so, this is one of the most amazing things that happened in the gaming industry today, especially with all the controversy around lootboxes and MTX. The price tag is hefty, but, at least we know what we’re paying for, right? Yep, we’re paying for a lotta “you died”, git good and a ton of salt. But, you know what? We love it.
